By accessing our website, completing a purchase, or downloading software from BSS Store, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood these Conditions of Use.
- You agree to be legally bound by the terms described in this agreement.
- If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
1. How purchases work — Paddle as Merchant of Record
Payments for products on BSS Store are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record (authorised reseller) for all purchases.
This means there are two agreements that apply to your purchase:
- Your purchase transaction is with Paddle. When you buy a product, you purchase it from Paddle using Paddle's checkout and payment services. The transaction — including payment, billing, invoicing, applicable taxes, subscription renewals, and the processing of any refunds — is governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms, the Paddle Refund Policy, and the Paddle Privacy Policy.
- Your licence and use of the software is with BSS. Bangladesh Software Solution is the "Supplier" of the products. These Conditions of Use act as the "Supplier Agreement" referred to in the Paddle Buyer Terms and govern the licence you are granted and how you may use our software.
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, the charge on your card or bank statement will appear under Paddle (for example, "Paddle.net" or "PADDLE.COM"), not BSS. BSS does not collect, process, or store your payment card details.
If there is any conflict between these Conditions of Use and the Paddle Buyer Terms in relation to the purchase transaction (payment, tax, billing, or refund handling), the Paddle Buyer Terms apply. In relation to the software licence and its permitted use, these Conditions of Use apply.
2. Terms and definitions
BSS Store is the website through which Bangladesh Software Solution makes its software products available. These products include themes, plugins, extensions, modules, templates, and other software developed and distributed by BSS.
Software / Product refers to any digital product available for download or purchase from BSS Store, including any licence keys, activation codes, updates, support services, and add-ons.
Paddle refers to the relevant Paddle contracting entity that acts as the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller for your purchase, as identified to you during checkout.
You / Licensee refers to the individual or organisation purchasing, downloading, or using the products provided by BSS Store.
3. Software licence and usage
Subject to your completion of a valid purchase through Paddle, BSS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased software in accordance with these terms and the licence type you selected during purchase.
3.1 Unauthorised use
You may not redistribute, resell, lease, license, sublicense, or otherwise make our software available to third parties without written permission from BSS. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Redistributing or reselling our products without permission
- Publishing or sharing source code without authorisation
- Creating derivative products based on our software without approval
- Porting the software to other platforms for resale
3.2 Licence transfer
Product licences and licence keys issued by BSS are assigned to a specific customer account and cannot be transferred, sublicensed, or shared with another party without written approval.
3.3 Ownership
All products available on BSS Store remain the intellectual property of Bangladesh Software Solution. Purchasing a product grants you the right to use the software but does not transfer ownership. Paddle's role as authorised reseller does not transfer any ownership of, or intellectual property rights in, the software to Paddle or to you.
All products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except as set out in section 8 (Limited Warranty) and except for any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law.
3.4 Legal use
You agree to use our software only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws. You must not use our software for activities involving illegal content, copyright violations, or other unlawful purposes.
4. Licence types
4.1 Single Domain Licence
A Single Domain Licence allows installation and use of the software on one website domain only. The licence is non-transferable and limited to the domain specified during activation.
4.2 Multiple Domain Licence
A Multiple Domain Licence allows installation and use of the software on multiple domains within the limits defined in the product licence agreement. This licence is also non-transferable and must be used only by the purchasing entity.
5. Software updates
Customers who purchase a product from BSS Store may receive product updates for a limited period after purchase. Update availability depends on the product licence and compatibility with the relevant platform version. After the update period expires, customers may need to purchase a renewal or upgrade to access the latest product versions.
6. Software support
Technical support is provided for purchased products for a limited support period starting from the date of purchase. Support includes assistance with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting related to the purchased product. Support requests must be submitted through the official support channel or contact form available on our website.
7. Refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks
7.1 Refunds
We offer a full 14-day money-back guarantee on every purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date, with no exceptions — including digital downloads, regardless of your location and regardless of whether you have already downloaded, installed, or activated the product. Where your local law gives you a longer or additional refund right, that greater right also applies.
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refunds are requested from and processed by Paddle. Full details, including how to request a refund and how refunds are processed, are set out in our Refund Policy and in the Paddle Refund Policy. Nothing in these Conditions of Use limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your country of purchase.
7.2 Subscriptions and renewals
If a product is sold on a subscription or recurring basis, Paddle will charge your payment method for recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel a subscription at any time through the links in your Paddle purchase confirmation email or via paddle.net; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and stops future charges. You may also request a refund of a recent charge within 14 days of that charge under our Refund Policy.
7.3 Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us or Paddle before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer — this is usually the fastest way to resolve the issue. If you initiate a chargeback, BSS or Paddle may suspend your access to and licence for the affected product while the matter is investigated. Where a chargeback is found to involve fraud or abuse of payment-protection mechanisms (such as claiming non-delivery of a product you have received or are using), your licence and access may be permanently revoked. This does not affect your lawful rights to dispute a charge under card-scheme or consumer-protection rules.
8. Term and termination
8.1 Term
This agreement remains valid for as long as you continue to use the software in compliance with these Conditions of Use.
8.2 Termination
BSS reserves the right to terminate your licence if you violate any terms described in this agreement. Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the software and remove all copies from your systems. If you receive a refund for a product (through Paddle), your licence to use that product ends and you must remove all copies from your systems.
9. Product discontinuation
BSS reserves the right to discontinue any product at any time. If a product is discontinued, support may continue for a limited period after the discontinuation date.
10. Limited warranty
BSS warrants that purchased software will function substantially as described in the product documentation for a limited warranty period after purchase. This warranty does not apply if issues arise due to:
- Improper installation
- Modification by third parties
- Server configuration issues
- Incompatible third-party software
This warranty is provided by BSS as the Supplier and is in addition to any rights you have under the Paddle Buyer Terms or under applicable consumer law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bangladesh Software Solution shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our software products. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchased product shall not exceed the amount paid for that product.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. Paddle's liability to you in respect of the purchase transaction is governed separately by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bangladesh Software Solution, its employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of our software products.
13. Privacy
Your use of BSS Store is subject to our Privacy Policy. Because Paddle processes your purchase as Merchant of Record, the personal and payment data you provide at checkout is also handled under the Paddle Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These Conditions of Use, and the licence and use of our software, are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide you with greater rights. Your purchase transaction with Paddle is governed by the law specified in the Paddle Buyer Terms (which may differ depending on your country of purchase). Nothing in this section removes any mandatory legal rights available to you as a consumer in your country of residence.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Conditions of Use from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. We recommend saving or printing a copy for your records. Continued use of our software after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where your express consent is required by law.
Agreement acceptance
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using any product from BSS Store, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Conditions of Use, and that you have reviewed the Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy that apply to your purchase.
